The Heart & Soul Community Program is a four-phase, step-by-step process developed by the Orton Family Foundation. This program focuses on the power of story-telling, reflection, and relationships.

Want to host a block party?
By listening to the unique stories of those who live or have lived, work, play, and pray in Rochester, we can find common themes among residents and create roadmaps to enhance what people love about Rochester and start improving things that need changed.
Our block party kit is designed to provide you with everything you need to gather stories while providing the flexibility to put your own spin on your party!
We will reimburse you up to $50 in (non-alcoholic) food and drink expenses, provide some party favors, promotional materials, and all of the instructions you need to help us gather stories.
